  1. Always astounded me how few agencies/clients put a real emphasis on this critical process. In our perpetual quest to be taken as serious, mature partners this process can be extremely illuminating but, as you say, only if both parties are committed to being candid – and taking the feedback in good faith. Agencies who take a sycophantic approach because they don’t want to ruffle any client feathers are missing the point. Clients who see this only as an “agency review” and not a chance for some refinements on THEIR side are almost as bad. Thanks for the reminder Hank.
